We had an amazing time at Newton Manor House -7 Bedroom House! The value for money was excellent, with plenty of space for our large group, cozy rooms, and fantastic amenities like the games room. The location was perfect for us, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to nature walks. The staff, especially our host Rosie, were incredibly attentive and made our stay extra special with thoughtful touches and great communication.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with more shower facilities and better water pressure. But considering the age of the house, it's understandable and didn't detract from our overall exceptional experience.

The well-appointed kitchen and huge dining table were great for socializing. The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the thoughtful little touches, like a welcome basket with treats for the kids, made our stay extra special. The games room provided hours of fun for the whole family. I highly recommend this wonderful property for a memorable getaway.

We stayed at Newton Manor to celebrate my birthday and it was perfect for our big group. the location was great, less than an hour from Edinburgh. the house was comfortable and had all the necessary utensils and appliances for cooking. We loved the indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and made use of the BBQ. the private garden surrounded by trees added to the privacy. Falkland, with a shop, pub, and nature walks, was just a 20-minute walk away. Rosie, the host, was fantastic, quick to respond and very helpful. We would definitely return for future group celebrations!

The location of this large house is ideal, with easy access to Edinburgh. It offers a private and serene setting, nestled amongst trees in a beautiful garden. the house is well-equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen and cozy living spaces, including a lounge with a fireplace. the games room is a fantastic bonus, providing entertainment for the whole family. the host, Rosie, is attentive and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable.
While the bathrooms have been addressed to the best of their ability in this age-old house, some fittings, like the shower controls, could be improved.

Loved having the whole apartment to myself, the free WiFi and parking were a bonus. The location was great, with beautiful natural surroundings. Managed by a professional host, which made my stay even better.
Oh, what a shame there weren't enough fireplaces and washers/dryers for my liking. Such a disappointment.

Wow, this place was so fancy! The room had a fireplace and a deep soaking tub, making me feel like a VIP. It also had free WiFi and a private yard, which was a nice touch. The coffee/tea makers and iron/ironing board were super convenient too.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shower/tub combination in the bathroom. It was a bit tricky to navigate.

Had a great Xmas break! Big rooms and perfect for socializing. Loved the mix of old and modern furniture. The kitchen was excellent and had a large dining table. The host was so friendly and helpful. The games room was a super bonus, lots of fun! Highly recommend.
Only downside was the water pressure upstairs, but it's an old house so expected. Wish there were a few more shelves in the en suite shower room for toiletries.
